Wunderland Events 2016: This is how W.E. do it
Happy New Year and welcome to our 1st ever blog post!
To kick things off, feast your eyes on the first official winner of our 2016 Wunderland Events Photo of the Year:
~Give it up to groomsman, Chris, who clearly shows us what it looks like the moment you dance like no one is watching. Kudos to photog, Kevin Zansler, for dodging that shoe. And accolades to the enthusiastic cheerleader in the background.
All of us deserve a round of applause after making it through 2016. Thankfully, there were many sweet moments shared with thousands of beautiful people this year and a few of our memories are posted below:
NYE 2016:
W.E. kicked off the year dancing with guests of Waterways Cruises on the bow of the Emerald Star, as Seattle used every firework in the Northwest for what looked like an attempt to launch the Space Needle in to orbit.
It was a treat working with Justin, a blast from our L.A. past and their head of public cruises. Be sure to ask him about our exclusive package offer.
"BEST SPRING EVER":
Wunderland Events entertainers hit 6 cities across 4 countries, for a string of unforgettable parties that ranged from chic Weddings in Tulum, Mexico, to "going down in the DM" in Los Angeles. W.E. shut down Chicago's Millennium Park Amphitheater in the middle of a whirlwind tour of the city's finest views (including backstage of the Steve Harvey Show, thanks Nat and John!), Next stop was the Big Apple, to support talented colleagues in their off broadway debut. After a trip up the family tree down in the D.R., we were back in Seattle to crown our 1st Wunderland VIPs. Our VIPs not only win prizes but they have lifetime access to our exclusive pricing on all our entertainment options.
W.E. hit Pride Parades in L.A., Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., Canada spreading our love mantra #LoveinMotion. Our most loyal fans sponsored our first floating DJ booth and Dance floor for Seattle's parade. W.E. look forward to planning for this year very soon. And last in the Pride celebrations, but so not the least, Vancouverites witnessed our Wunderland Pop Up Party. With our mini mobile unit, bumping tracks, dynamic energy and a microphone, the streets of the west side were dancing night and day. Be sure to catch us back at Bute and Beach this summer for our 2nd annual Bench Party. We also teamed up with Fuge Camps again for "Christian Coachella", partied for 24 hours on Vancouver Island, and rolled out the "Small Wunder" party package for kids. By the mid-point of the year, W.E. have mixed musical genres for guests from ages 3 to 93, stepping in and outside the box of Top 40, Classics, Old School, 50's to the 90's, EDM, House, Latin, and Funk, to way outside the box for our wedding clients with traditional Ugandan, Chinese and Vietnamese music. Now who's ready to Salsa?
AUTUMN:
As the cold weather rolled in, W.E. kept the dance floor hot at the Bellevue Westin, spinning a Mitzvah for long time mentor H2H The Perfect Element. Across town, at Holy Rosary Schoool's annual West Fest, W.E. provided rain-proof Concert sound and Karaoke. All along the way, our 1st class event coordinators smoothed out the details for anniversary, birthday, sports, networking, and fundraising events. Anything else? Oh yeah.....Halloween!!!
W.E. rocked a freaky fun harbor cruise, had an eerie collaboration with an electric violinist, and shook the West Seattle Harvest Fest with a few ghouls and gremlins at our "I-Scream Hop".
HOLIDAYS (MIRACLE ON FRENCH ST.):
Santa dropped off our gifts early when Wunderland Events got the call to curate and spin the soundtrack for the Lucent Dossier Experience. The Warner Brothers Studios back lot in Burbank, California was transformed into a Winter Wunderland (a-hem) for four thousand of the WB family of movie magicians. W.E emceed the amazing show of aerial performers, an acapella group singing Christmas Carols, Santa light the WB tree and way too much to list here. What we must tell you is making hundreds of people groove with us song after song and keeping up with their screams takes a LOT of good energy, so if you want to know our secret then ask us, "what's your Festival option?"
Eat, Party, Eat, repeat was the theme for the holidays. A mantra W.E. followed dutifully, all the way down to the Riviera Maya in Mexico, surrounded by a star-studded guest list and 5-star kitchens to ring in the New Year for our new favorite client, Hotel Esencia. That was where W.E. received the best news of the year, as Wunderland Events was named "Official House DJ" for the resort. Woot!

It has been our sincerest honor to share in so many joyful celebrations with people with every type of history in these past 15 years.
